Non-profit private schools and home schoolers who legally qualify as non-profit (currently hold a 501-C3 certificate) are invited to meet with representatives from Alvin, Clear Creek, Dickinson, Friendswood, Hitchcock, Pearland, Santa Fe, and Texas City Independent School Districts to learn more about federally funded services available for eligible residents of these districts.

Eighteen Dawson High School students will put their business skills to the test to represent Pearland Independent School District at the DECA International Career Development Conference to be held this summer in Anaheim, California.

Three students from Turner College and Career High School and one from Pearland High School will represent Pearland Independent School District at the International HOSA Conference to be held in Houston, TX on June 26-29.

Pearland Independent School District middle school and junior high teams waged a battle of trivia skills at Turner College and Career High School on March 22 that ended in Sablatura Middle School winning the overall Grand Championship.

Pearland Independent School District recently named John Palombo as Executive Director of Safe and Secure Schools.
Palombo is no stranger to Pearland ISD. As a campus principal for ten years, he understands that student success starts with a safe, clean, and functioning environment. His belief is that the Food Services, Transportation, Safety and Maintenance & Operations departments are the driving force providing the pathway to success.

Pearland Independent School District sports medicine staff will host two athletic physical days on Saturday, April 20 and May 4.
Pearland ISD students currently in grades 6-11 who plan on participating in any athletics class, sport, high school marching band, drill team or cheerleading for the 2024-25 school year may attend.
